03Branding

Brand identity systems built to translate directly to the web.

Positioning, naming, logo, typography, colour, voice, and a guidelines document your team will actually open. Every brand we design is built to live on a real site — not just look good on a Behance carousel. No awkward handoff from print to product, no logo file your engineers can't use, no voice that falls apart on a pricing page.

  • Positioning and narrative before a single logo sketch
  • Full identity: logo, type, colour, motion, iconography
  • Voice, messaging, and naming that survive contact with the site
  • Guidelines your marketing team will actually open

What we fix

The reasons teams call us for a redesign.

  • 01

Your logo looks fine — but the rest of the brand doesn't exist.

    How we fix it

We design the whole system, not just the mark. Type, colour, spacing, iconography, motion, photography, voice — all documented so every touchpoint feels like the same company, not a group project.

  • 02

The brand looked great in the deck. It falls apart on the site.

    How we fix it

We design brand and web in the same studio, with the same tokens. Colour ramps, type scale, and spacing are pressure-tested against real product screens — so what's in the guidelines is what ships.

  • 03

Nobody on the team knows how to use the brand.

    How we fix it

We ship a Notion-friendly guidelines doc, a Figma library, and a 30-minute team walkthrough. Rules where they help, examples where they teach, and enough opinion to make decisions without a designer in the room.

  • 04

    You've outgrown your original identity.

    How we fix it

Rebrands are half of what we do. We audit what's earned equity (and shouldn't change) versus what's holding you back — then evolve the mark, the system, and the voice without torching your recognition.

Before the logo

We sketch it messy first.

Structure, hierarchy, and story get resolved on paper — long before anyone opens Figma. Cheaper to move a marker than a component.

What you get

One brand system — positioning, identity, voice, and guidelines — ready to ship on web.

Every engagement includes positioning, naming (if needed), logo & wordmark, a full visual system, voice & messaging, and a guidelines doc your team can actually use. Everything below the headline is included by default.

01

Positioning & narrative

Who you're for, what you stand for, what you sound like — the strategy that every visual decision falls out of.

02

Logo & wordmark system

Primary mark, wordmark, lockups, monogram, favicon — designed to work at 16px and on a billboard.

03

Type, colour & motion

A living design system — not a swatch library. Type scale, colour ramps, spacing, iconography, and motion primitives.

04

Voice, messaging & guidelines

How you talk, taglines, boilerplate, and a guidelines doc that reads like a playbook — not a legal PDF.

How the work moves

Four moves. No surprises.

Every design engagement runs on the same rails — so you always know what's next, what we need from you, and what ships this week.

  1. 01

    Discover

We start with the business, the buyers, and the competitors. Stakeholder interviews, category audit, and a positioning workshop — so the brand has something to say before it has something to look like.

    • Stakeholder & customer interviews
    • Category & competitive audit
    • Positioning workshop
    • Brand brief & north star
  2. 02

    Define

Positioning, narrative, and naming (if needed) get locked in first. Then we set the strategic frame — audience, promise, personality, voice — that every design decision references.

    • Positioning & value prop
    • Naming & tagline (optional)
    • Voice & messaging pillars
    • Brand personality & tone
  3. 03

    Design

Two or three distinct visual directions, then one is chosen and taken to a full system. Logo, type, colour, iconography, motion, photography — all designed against real screens, not moodboards.

    • Two visual directions
    • Logo & wordmark system
    • Type, colour & spacing system
    • Iconography, motion & imagery
  4. 04

    System & handover

Everything ships as one system — Figma library, guidelines doc, and asset kit. Plus a live walkthrough so your team, your agency, and your engineers all use it the same way.

    • Figma brand library
    • Guidelines (Notion + PDF)
    • Full asset kit & templates
    • Team walkthrough & Loom

Marks with meaning

A logo your team actually wants to sign off.

We sketch, print, and pin real marks before opening Figma. What ships is the one that survived paper, boardroom, and a phone screen at 24 pixels tall.

unified system

One source of truth across web, product, deck, and social — instead of five drifting files.

Every touchpoint

One identity.
Everywhere it shows up.

Packaging, print, social, product, packaging tape — every surface a customer meets you on, dialled in from the same source of truth.

Questions we hear

The FAQ
before you ask.

How long does a branding engagement take?

Most brand systems take 4 to 8 weeks. A visual refresh is closer to 3 to 4; a full rebrand with positioning, naming, and a web-ready system is 8 to 12. We scope a fixed timeline in the first week.

Do you do naming?

Yes, when it's needed. Naming is a separate workstream inside the branding engagement — with a shortlist, availability screening (URL, socials, trademark surface check), and a rationale for each option. If you already have a name, we skip it.

Can you rebrand us without losing the equity we've built?

That's exactly the goal. We start with an equity audit — what recognition, colour, mark, or voice is doing real work — and evolve around it. Rebrands should feel inevitable, not disorienting.

Will the brand actually work on our website?

Yes — because we design it against real product screens from day one. Colour ramps get tested against your UI, type scale gets pressure-tested at 14px, and every token exists in Figma variables so it plugs straight into a web build.

Do you deliver guidelines?

Yes. You get a Notion-native guidelines site plus a printable PDF — logo rules, type, colour, voice, imagery, do's and don'ts, and worked examples. Written to be read, not filed.

Can you also design and build our website?

Yes — see our Web Design and Web Development services. Half our brand engagements roll straight into a site build with the same team, so nothing gets lost between brand and product.
